Early Learning Preschool Volunteer Day
Early Learning Preschool was lucky to be chosen as this year's recipients of Leadership Sandoval Project. Early Learning Preschool has been given paint and flooring which will be installed during their spring break. Join us as we volunteer helping move furniture, clean and decorate as they prepare for students to return from their spring break.
This event is on Saturday, March 30th from 10:00am to 12:00pm at 2704 Southern Blvd SE.
Live After Five
Join YPA and UNM Anderson School of Management at our upcoming Live After Five. Enjoy an evening of networking with Albuquerque's best and upcoming business minds and get to know our event sponsor, UNM Anderson!
The Anderson School of Management was the first professional school of management established in the state of New Mexico and current alumni base is over 24,000 graduates.
Food by Fat Frank's will be available for everyone who registers—the menu includes mac and cheese, banh mi, frito dog pie, and more!

Barrett Foundation: Volunteer Day
Join YPA as we volunteer to help clean up the grounds, as well as help assemble patio furniture and playsets benefitting the Barrett House. The Barrett House provides shelter and supportive services to women and children experiencing homelessness, creating an opportunity for them to get a safety net in place to build the stability they need to start their journey towards securing a home for themselves and their children.
YPA Connects: Gabe Jensen
YPA will be hosting brewing industry leader Gabe Jensen for a wide-ranging conversation about his journey to leading one of the most successful breweries in New Mexico. He will speak about the role breweries play in Albuquerque’s economy, and how Bosque continues to stand out in an increasingly competitive brewing market.
Bosque will be providing a discounted special cocktail for this event, in addition to offering $1 off all beers.

Roadrunner Food Bank Warehouse Volunteering
Join the Young Professionals of Albuquerque on February 10th from 8:00am to 10:00am at Roadrunner Food Bank for a morning of volunteering and making a difference in our community! Together, we can feed hope and create a brighter future.
Warehouse volunteers are trained to check, clean, label, sort, repack, and box food and non-food packaged items, which will then be made available to partner agencies for distribution throughout New Mexico.
Warehouse volunteers should be able to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
Volunteers should be in relatively good health to perform tasks that may be physically demanding, such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and reaching
Roadrunner Food Bank is a fully functioning food warehouse, so volunteers may be working near large equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
15 spaces reserved for YPA. Please follow instructions so Roadrunner Food Bank can have an accurate headcount.

Shirts must cover the shoulder, shorts and skirts should be of modest length. Tank tops, tube or halter tops, midriffs, low riding pants, short shorts, or miniskirts may not be worn under any circumstance.
Ear buds, headphones, and mobile phones may not be used while working. You may take photos with your group before or after your volunteer shift.
Valuables, purses, bags, and backpacks should be left at home or secured in your vehicle.

Joy Junction Thanksgiving Feast
Join us on November 22nd from 9:30am to 2:00pm at the ABQ Convention Center as we help Joy Junction serve over 1,000 holiday meals to those in need!

Habitat Repair
Join Young Professionals of Albuquerque on Saturday, April 19th from 8am to 12pm for a day of community engagement. We will be volunteering with Habitat for Humanity on repair projects for our local community. Expected tasks will be clarified closer to the date, but in the past we have done yard work and painting.

Young Professionals of Albuquerque is teaming up with New Mexico United to take over the El Jimador Fiesta Deck to cheer on our home team as they take on Phoenix Rising in the 2023 US Open Cup on Wednesday, April 26. The doors open at 6:00pm and the match begins at 7:00pm.
This special and free opportunity is only for YPA members!
The Fiesta Deck is located on the Club Level of Isotopes Park, adjacent to the luxury suites, and offers fantastic views and access to their club bar and lounge. The open-air patio allows plenty of room to socialize and enjoy the game.

City-Wide Mixer
The annual City-Wide Mixer is the can't-miss signature event connecting the Albuquerque metro together. Organized by Young Professionals of Albuquerque, the City-Wide Mixer is our largest event bringing all professional organizations together for an evening of celebration, community building and networking with Albuquerque’s young professionals.
The event is free and we welcome all professionals, trades, entrepreneurs, artists in all industries and professional and professional-supporting organizations. Albuquerque is a full and diverse economy, and we invite you to take part!
