We aim to build a community that offers professional development, social, and civic opportunities to help empower Albuquerque’s future leaders.

About YPA

YPA aims to attract Albuquerque young professionals in their 20s and 30s across all industries. Members are Albuquerque natives as well as transplants who are seeking to connect with young professional peers, develop leadership skills, and get plugged in to the community.

One thing is for sure – YPA is not your standard networking group. We are constantly seeking to build a community that offers professional development, social, and civic opportunities to help empower Albuquerque’s future leaders.

Our members don’t come to YPA events to schmooze and collect business cards; they come for an environment where everyone is encouraged to get involved and share ideas while developing lasting friendships.

As a young professional, you can’t afford to wait for the world to come to you. It has become increasingly important to develop a professional network, while actively engaging with the social and philanthropic community around you. Members of YPA are encouraged to take an active role in the organization from being involved with a variety of programs, to volunteering for a leadership role on the board or a committee, where you can have an immediate impact on the success of the group.

The organization is a 501(c)6 non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers. Each member’s contribution is crucial to moving the organization forward and forging a path for success as Albuquerque’s future leaders.
