YPA Community Grant Giveaway

Young Professionals of Albuquerque (YPA) is inviting nonprofits serving the Greater Albuquerque Metro area to submit applications for the YPA Community Grant Giveaway! This grant is to benefit a nonprofit organization that supports success in the workforce through entry or reentry, professional mentorships, and continued professional development.

Grant applications will be accepted through Friday, May 21, 2021.

Three finalists will be selected and each invited to present a video during YPA’s 2021 Community Grant Giveaway where YPA members will vote live for the grant award recipient. We are planning for this event to happen mid-summer. The awarded organization will be required to submit a formal report to YPA, which will be provided once awardee is announced.

To help YPA maintain a high level of impartiality in our selection process, applicants should follow all guidelines carefully, including submitting a current nonprofit organization registration with the NM Attorney General’s Office and a current financial statement.

The 2021 YPA Community Grant Giveaway funds total $12,000 and are directed toward operational expenses (to support ongoing organizational expenses or day-to-day activities such as rent, labor costs, software - and tech maintenance- office supplies, utilities, licenses/professional development, etc). Funds cannot be used for annual campaigns, fundraising campaigns, or fundraising events. This grant funding cannot be used for any political lobbying or lobbying of any nature.

Organizations are limited to one grant proposal for consideration during this grant process. If you have multiple locations, one grant proposal for the entire organization may be submitted. All completed grant submissions must be received by YPA at ypabqnm@gmail.com by 11:59 pm MST Friday, May 21.
